Dr. Khaled Ghazi Abid Althaqafi is a highly accomplished dental professional with 15 years of experience in academic, clinical, and leadership roles. He is the Head of the Dental and Maxillofacial Department at NEOM Hospital and serves as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at both NEOM Hospital and the University Dental Hospital of Umm Al-Qura University. Additionally, Dr. Althaqafi is an Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry at Umm Al-Qura University.
An international speaker and workshop instructor, Dr. Althaqafi has conducted lectures and training on Esthetic Direct Composite Veneers in Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. He is a peer reviewer for Dental Materials by Elsevier and a guest editor for the Polymers journal, contributing to research on polymeric self-healing materials.
Dr. Althaqafi’s clinical expertise spans Oral Rehabilitation, Root Canal Treatment, Dental Tooth Extraction, and advanced restorative procedures. Currently, he is pursuing a second master’s degree in Healthcare Administration to further enhance his leadership capabilities.
